Accurate temperature determination is critical for most metal forming operations.

Fabrication at incorrect temperatures can lead to inferior quality product or increased energy usage reducing process efficiency and productivity.

Our range of hot metal detection instruments accurately determines the temperature of material from a distance of between 2 to 4 metres.

Because these devices are "non contact" they are non intrusive and thus have no influence on the fabrication process. Additionally, this means there are no contact / wear parts which require replacement or maintenance.

This revolutionary system can be used for all forming processes from wire drawing to billet finishing and continuous casting.
