The Accerion Jupiter is a sensor module that can easily be integrated into existing mobile robots and AGVs.
This breakthrough positioning system uses advanced optical technology to scan the floor surface. This determines the movement, position and orientation of the robot or vehicle which is communicated to the navigation system. Floor base landmarks are then used to combine relative and absolute data to ensure robust and continuous reliable positioning.
The Accerion Jupiter module enables new modes of navigation including Indoor and Outdoor navigation with a single system in large spaces such as warehouses and shipyards and also dynamic environments with moving vehicles, people, equipment and material.
The Accerion Jupiter can also be paired with a Hokuyo UAM-05LP Safety Laser Scanner
to create a complete navigation system which is safe and protected from a collision.
